Cancer is really hard to treat, but the question is, why? This is because of many factors and includes many diseases. Therefore, in short, cancer treatment is so hard because of the presence of so many underlying groups of diseases.
The thing is that there are multiple types of cancers, and many continue to get discovered. More than 100 varieties have been uncovered until now, which is quite a large number. Cancer has no fixed cause, no fixed treatment, and no fixed symptoms. It can be caused due to some external factor or can develop from a disease-causing organism inside.
Factors affecting cancer treatment:
- There can be a problem with cancer cell treatment; each person can react differently to them. There is no single common treatment for all types of cancers; each has a different treatment method. - Every individual has an entirely different lifestyle. No two individuals have the same life cycle and the same activities every day. While some people exercise early in the morning, others may be sleeping. This is why treatment methods differ from person to person.
- The body's reaction to the drugs that are provided by the medical practitioner is also an important factor. Some people may react to cancer medicine well, while others won't. It should be noted that the metabolic rate, the amount of blood, and the patient's overall health are all quite important.
- While the patient's body could show positive effects, it could be the tumor creating the problem. Not every tumor reacts to medicines in the same manner as others. Hence, there is no single treatment for all kinds of cancer cells.
Common cancer types that are quite prevalent:
- Breast cancer: It is ranked second in the list of most common cancers worldwide. It happens in women, and mammograms can detect its presence quite well. Sometimes, mammograms can detect them even before they have spread in the whole body.
- Skin cancer: The most common type of cancer is skin cancer. It happens when the skin cells grow cancerous, and the growth is uncontrollable. There are three types-basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Melanoma is not as common as the other two, but is the most harmful among them. It has caused the most deaths.
- Bladder cancer: Transitional cell carcinoma is the most common type of bladder cancer. It is also termed urothelial carcinoma and is quite harmful. Smoking is the major reason why this cancer develops.
- Leukemia: It is when the blood cells develop cancerous cells. There are quite a few variations that depend upon the type of blood cells and their growth speed. It is the most common type of cancer in children who are about 15 years of age or less. But, it happens more in adults who are above the age of 55.
In the therapy of these types of cancers cancer medicine like Abirakast can be quite effective. While many traditional ways have also proved beneficial, tumor removal is done through drugs or certain surgical methods.
